Assassin's Creed III Pre-Order Bonuses Revealed

Retailer specific incentives includes exclusive multiplayer and singleplayer content ...

Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed III still has another seven months before it hits stores this October ... but that doesn't stop gamers from already purchasing their copies. Since its announcement three weeks ago, Assassin's Creed III already surpassed the series' other titles in pre-orders during the same timeframe, and is on track to becoming Ubisoft's best selling game of all time.

Ubisoft's senior vice president of sales and marketing, Tony Key, released the following statement in regards to ACIII's success thus far.

“On October 30th players will experience the biggest game launch in Ubisoft’s history with the highly anticipated release of Assassins Creed III. With a development cycle of three years, Assassins Creed III is the true next-generation experience of the Assassins Creed brand. The production value of the game, combined with the biggest marketing commitment we’ve ever made, will make Assassins Creed III the highest-selling Assassin’s Creed game ever.”

If you are among the masses that already reserved their copy of AC III, then you will want to know what bonuses you'll be getting. So far ... GameStop Germany, and Amazon Germany has posted listings of their pre-order incentives. The images below, captured by All Games Beta, shows off some of what you'll get with your early copies. The North American retailers haven't release any information on their pre-order bonuses as yet, but these will give you a sense of what to expect ... translated by GamerRant.

• A Redcoat multiplayer package, which includes a redcoat skin, a snake emblem, and a “doctor doll” relic (Gamestop exclusive).
• A single-player package including the “captain” assassin uniform and a handaxe used for boarding ships (Amazon).
• A single player package including a “traditional” colonial assassin’s uniform and brass-handled flintlock pistol (Amazon).

Several North American retailers ... Amazon, GameStop, and Best Buy ... are offering a free limited edition steelbook case with all pre-orders. This is not a retailer specific pre-order incentive, its Ubisoft's own bonus for those pre-ordering. Follow us to learn more on what these and more retailers will offer as exclusives.

[UPDATE]: Ubisoft has now revealed the North American pre-order incentives for Best Buy and GameStop ... includes exclusive singleplayer missions and un-lockable weapons.
