PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Release Date and Pre-Order Bonuses

This smash hit launching this October 23rd ...

That's correct, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is set to hit stores October 23rd, 2012 ... that's according to a statement released by Sony earlier today via the PlayStation Blog. As you already know, PS All-Stars will be available for the PlayStation 3, and the PS Vita, and will pack together all your favorite PlayStation characters from top titles such as Nathan Drake from the Uncharted series and Big Daddy from BioShock.

If you're opting to reserve your copy early, Sony has announced that all pre-orders will get an exclusive set of costumes for all of the characters in the game. These exclusive outfits, pictured below, will be available for pre-orders only, but when the game launches, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to unlock multiple costumes for each character.

Sony will be unveiling two new characters during their Exhibition Presentation at EVO in Las Vegas this evening at 6:00pm PST, so stay tune for much more information.

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is a crossover brawler style fighting game featuring over 20 first, and third party characters from Kratos to Sly Cooper, Sweet Tooth to PaRappa the Rapper.
