Tomb Raider Delayed To 2013


Tomb Raider follows BioShock Infinite to a 2013 release date ...

The reboot to the classic Tomb Raider has been delayed from fall 2012 to early 2013 ... according to a report published by Crystal Dynamics on the game's official forums. Studio head Darrell Gallagher explained that the development team needs more time to deliver the best game possible. "Our priority now is to make sure we fully deliver the very highest-quality game. In order to do this, we have decided to move the game’s release date by a few months, from fall 2012 to the first quarter of 2013,"

"We're doing things that are completely new to Tomb Raider in this game, and the additional development time will allow us to put the finishing touches into the game and polish it to a level that you deserve. We believe this is the right choice, and I guarantee it will be worth the wait."

Tomb Raider will be a reboot to the series and will be available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. The following screenshot is a teaser for the game's E3 appearance, so look out for it there.
