Borderlands 2 Special Editions brings the loot ... too expensive?

2K Games has announced that Borderlands 2 will feature two special editions, the "Deluxe Hunter's Edition", and the "Ultimate Loot Chest Limited Edition" ... both available for the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.

If you reserve your copy early at selected retailers, you will be granted access to Borderlands 2 Premiere club, giving you several bonuses including the Gearbox Gun Pack, a Golden Key, the Vault Hunter's Relic and the Mechromancer in-game character (launching post-release, free for Premiere Club members and paid DLC for non-members).

The Deluxe Hunter's Collector's Edition will cost $99 and includes an art-book, stickers, map of Pandora, download code for a digital comic, a Marcus Kincaid bobble-head, and in-game DLC.

The Ultimate Loot Chest Limited Edition will be even more expensive at $149 and comes with all items in the Deluxe Edition, plus a red loot chest replica, a steal case, Creatures of Pandora ID chart, postcard set, field notes from Sir Hammerlock, and a cloth map.
