Microsoft offering Xbox 360 4GB Kinect bundle for $99 with $15/month subscription fee ...
According to a report by The Verge, Microsoft is set to launch a $99 Xbox 360 4GB console and Kinect bundle next week through its Microsoft Stores in the US. An Xbox 360 4GB for $99 ... yes, but it will come with a $15 monthly subscription fee for a period of 2 years. This monthly fee will give subscribers access to Xbox Live Gold, streaming content from Cable network providers, and a two-year warranty.
Before you consider jumping into this deal, know that there will be an early termination fee if you break contract before the two-year period. Also, this bundle will ending up costing $459 in total ... thats including the $99 dollars, plus the 24 months of $15 payment. If you were to buy an Xbox 360 4GB Kinect bundle at current price, plus two years of Xbox Live Gold, it will only cost you $420. Thats a $39 dollar difference ... consider it interest.Microsoft hasn't confirmed nor deny this as of yet, but if this comes forth next week, it will be a good incentive for those who can't afford $400+ upfront. Stay tune for more on this as we learn more from Microsoft.
[UPDATE]: Microsoft confirms the $99 Xbox 360 4GB Kinect bundle and the 250GB standalone (no Kinect).
